Sara Abbott is an American artist based in Santa Monica, California. Her latest paintings speak about architecture, design, and materiality by using texture and monochromatic color fields. The use of line and shapes enhance the layering of pigment in these paintings, which allows the surfaces to absorb and reflect light.
